FIAM manual homologated built-in lock/chrome finish allows, as admitted by an interpretation of the regulamentation, to mount the preliminary bridge contacts separately from the lock’s main body. This solution is particularly advisable when you must replace locks on doors with plays or where it is not possible to drill the wing in order to insert the preliminary bridge contact. In this case you mount the lock first, which must be a standardised model, and then the preliminary bridge contact on any other part of the door. This solution may be also applied to any type of manual lock.
