The lead rope attachment replacement kit with tie rods according to EN 13411-3 or DIN 15315 meets the requirements that are required by the UNI 10411-1 paragraph 6.8 which refers to paragraph 5.5.2.3 of the UNI EN 81-20:2020. This paragraph prescribes that the connection between the rope and the attachment is in accordance with point 5.5.2.3.1 but above all that the resistance of this attachment is not less than 80% of the minimum breaking load of the ropes. This replacement kit was created with the aim of allowing the replacement of ropes in systems with leaded rope attachment by replacing it with certified rope attachments installed in a structure to be mounted inside the car frame; the device has been tested in certified laboratories and has a certification that certifies its use for loads of up to 2500 kg of suspended load which can be obtained with the 2, 3 or 4 rope configuration. 

There are two different configurations of the device, depending on whether the system is equipped with the slack rope accumulation device inside the car frame or not.

How it works

This kit has been designed to be easy to install, the preliminary data to be known are the internal distance between the car frame, the suspended load, the number and size of the ropes and the presence or absence of the slack rope accumulation device. 

The installation proceeds as for a normal rope change, with the difference that not only the ropes will be replaced but also the entire rope attachment on the cabin frame.
