Unclamping device for tie rods M12
The CMF unclamping device for tie rods M12 has been developed for controlling the perfect operation of the parachute brake on hydraulic-operated elevators and goods lifts from outside the lift shaft.
This device fully satisfies what is explicitly required by the EN 81-20 standard in point 5.6.2.2.2; EN 81-20 par. 5.5.2.3.1 (EN 13411-7: 2006), as certified by TÜV Bayern Sachsen from Munich.
Main features
The main feature of this device is that it can be operated, and then so reloaded, from outside the lift shaft and, for this reason, it is never necessary to enter the elevator well.
The device is installed in place of a tie rod for a supporting cable and is operated by means of cords, which can be distinguished through the white and green handles. Operating forces, both in unclamping and reloading operations, are well below 200 N. This is required by the Rule and hence the device can be operated from outside the lift shaft by means of flexible tubes linked to the device itself.
This device can be applied as well to elevators which have compensation springs for pulling the cable.
Easy to install
Installing the device is very easy; in fact, it does not require any work to be done on the existing lift structure.
