This makes the accidental disconnection of the preliminary contacts impossible as long as the bolt is in the moving part of the lock. As a matter of fact, if an attempt is made to open any door while the lift is moving, the preliminary contacts could disconnect due to the play between the bolt and its housing in the moving part of the door, temporarily stopping the moving system.
